With the FW'24 menswear season coming to a close, Heuritech presents a comprehensive review of the standout trends from Paris' runways and their evolution over the past year. Utilizing runway data combined with our Fall '24 forecast metrics, based on social images analysis, we aim to assess their potential for market adoption.

RED

Red emerged as the standout color at the end of 2023, continuing its popularity into the new year. Initially predominant in womenswear and highly visible on our consumers panel, this vibrant hue is now making a significant impact in menswear collections as well. On the FW'24 catwalks, red boasted a 7% visibility, marking a notable 4 point increase from the FW'23 collections.

Our data predicts a resurgence of red in men's fashion for the next fall, with a projected 4% increase in visibility on men consumers.

DENIM

Denim stood out as a key trend for experimentation by designers in the FW’23 season. However, this season sees a 6% decrease in its visibility, with the fabric now making up 11% of the materials identified by our technology.

As per our data and despite a gradual decline in popularity among men's consumer fashion over the years, denim's broad appeal secures its relevance for future seasons.


PINSTRIPES

Pinstripes have seen a resurgence in the last years due to the reinvention of casual suiting. This season brands like Louis Vuitton and Amiri even added embellishments to their designs and made it flamboyant.

This season, pinstripes represented 9% of all recognized prints, showing a significant 5 points increase from last year's collections.

From the consumer perspective, we're anticipating a more modest 2% increase in popularity for next Fall. It remains to be seen whether consumers will embrace these fresh takes on pinstripes for their winter attire.
