Burberry’s Streets initiative for London Fashion Week has taken another step via a link-up with Transport for London.

As part of the deal, Bond Street tube station has transformed into ‘Burberry Street’ for the duration of the fashion week. Burberry’s recently completed revamped flagship store is at 21-23 New Bond Street itself with the station not far away.

The station entrance, signage and the world-famous TfL roundels on the Central, Jubilee and Elizabeth line platforms now feature 'knight blue’, a colour debuted by Chief Creative Officer Daniel Lee as one of Burberry’s new symbols of the house.

Bond Street is one of London’s most famous shopping destinations, fronting directly onto Oxford Street, so the visibility of the station takeover will be huge.

The partnership runs until 19 September.

Other activations as part of the Streets campaign have included a takeover of Norman’s, the North London café, with a travelling Norman’s food truck making appearances in key LFW-linked locations such as The Strand and Duke of York Square.
