Dubbed 'CFCL Eyewear', the collection features sunglasses that made their debut during Spring/Summer 2024 Paris Fashion Week as part of the VOL.7 collection. Crafted in Sabae, the largest eyewear production area in Japan, these eyewear pieces echo the smooth lines of CFCL knitwear, known for its single-thread construction.

The debut collection comprises four distinct styles: the 'Hexagon' and 'Round' models, each available in two sizes and three color variations, including mirrored lenses. Additionally, 999.9 will offer optical options for the 45-46 mm models.

Each style incorporates innovative design elements, including a reduction in the number of parts used, such as the removal of nose pads. The integration of 999.9's iconic 'Gyaku-R hinge' seamlessly merges with the temples, creating a supple, straight line aesthetic. CFCL's signature colors and logo adorn the temple tips, adding a distinctive touch.

The frame material is titanium, renowned for its strength and flexibility, ensuring long-lasting wear and resistance to deformation. Likewise, the lenses feature a half-mirror coating suitable for year-round wear, with a low curve for a sharp and sophisticated appearance. They offer UV400 protection, scratch-resistant and water-repellent coatings, as well as anti-reflective properties.

The collection launches with an official short film showcasing the production process at the Sabae factory, providing insight into the craftsmanship behind each pair.
