Coinciding with the presentation of the financial results of the group on Wednesday, March 13, Inditex has disclosed the salaries of its top executives in the annual compensation report published by the company. A record-breaking dividend


In parallel, the company has announced that the board of directors will propose to the annual general meeting of shareholders a 28% increase in the dividend for the year 2023, to €1.54 per share. This figure includes an ordinary dividend of €1.04 and an extraordinary dividend of €0.50 per share.

Equal payments will be made on May 2 and November 4, first paying €0.77 per share (corresponding to the ordinary dividend), and then another payment of €0.77 per share (comprising €0.27 from the ordinary dividend and €0.50 from the extraordinary dividend).

Thus, the founder of the company, Amancio Ortega, will receive around €2.845 billion in 2024. On the other hand, Ortega's eldest daughter, Sandra Ortega, who controls 5.053% of the Galician company thanks to her 157.5 million shares, will earn approximately €242.5 million this year.
