Massimo Renon is new Marcolin global commercial chief

Eyewear giant Marcolin Group and PAI Partners, the European private equity firm, have announced the appointment of Massimo Renon as General Manager Worldwide Sales, effective immediately.

Renon will run the licensing business, product, marketing and worldwide sales, reporting directly to Giovanni Zoppas, Marcolin CEO
Zoppas said of the appointment: “[Renon’s] deep experience in the eyewear industry and marketing expertise will further strengthen the distribution structure and competitiveness of Marcolin in the global market."
Marcolin is one of the world's leading companies in the eyewear sector with a brand portfolio that includes Tom Ford, Balenciaga, Moncler, Ermenegildo Zegna, Agnona, Montblanc, Roberto Cavalli, Tod's, Emilio Pucci, Swarovski, Dsquared2, Diesel, Covergirl, Kenneth Cole, Timberland, Guess, Gant, Harley-Davidson, Marciano, Catherine Deneuve, Skechers, Bongo, and Candie's.
In 2015 the company sold approximately 14.3m pairs of glasses.
